San Francisco Volunteer Registration Volunteer Registration for the 15th Annual Rhone Rangers San Francisco Tasting Events
Volunteering for the upcoming Rhone Rangers tasting at Fort Mason in San Francisco is an opportunity to contribute to the organization while getting free admission to the Sunday Grand Tasting. You can volunteer on Saturday, March 24th or on the day of the tasting, Sunday, March 25th.
Volunteer tasks include setting up the tasting, assisting the wineries as they arrive, checking-in attendees, closing logistics, and orchestrating special events such as the seminars. Setup starts at 8:00 am on Saturday, March 24th. The Grand Tasting runs from 12:00 pm until 5 pm on Sunday, March 25. Most volunteer shifts are 3 ½ hours long. There are volunteer opportunities from 7:00 am to early evening, so most volunteer opportunities allow you to work and then enjoy the tasting.
To volunteer, please complete and submit the following form. Volunteer shifts are assigned based on order of registration and our need to fully staff the event. While we will try to assign you to one of the shifts you choose, please understand it is not always possible to do so and many shifts are in the afternoon. You will increase your chances of receiving a shift you desire by indicating 8 preferred shifts below.
By registering to volunteer you are confirming that you are 21 years of age or older and that you agree to use good judgment while performing your volunteer activities. You are also agreeing to not consume any alcohol before or during your shift and to hold the Rhone Rangers harmless for any injury that you may incur.
Shift assignments will begin being assigned and sent out in mid-February; volunteers who register after this time will receive their shift assignment within about a week.
