San Francisco Gala Barbeque, Tasting, and Live Auction

Winemaker Dinner, Saturday March 15, 2008, 6 PM.  Meet the Rhone Ranger winemakers! Kick off the weekend with a Winemaker Dinner at the Log Cabin in the San Francisco Presidio, hosted by several member wineries. Step up to some of our best library wnes, served during the opening hour of this elegant event. Each table will each hosted by a different winemaker who will pour their hand-crafted Rhone style wines throughout the evening. (Of course you’ll be able to taste the wines from all of the winemakers, not just your host.) A live auction with unique items donated by each winemaker will cap off the evening.  The Girl & the Fig, the Sonoma restaurant famous for sumptuous foods and its "Rhone-Alone" wine list, will be catering the meal.  Chef John Toulze will present foods perfectly paired with each wine being served.  A vegetarian option will also be available.  Tickets: $125/person.
