Regional Rhone Rangers Tastings
Smithsonian's Sustainable Seafood Conference, June 10-12, 2010 The Rhone Rangers are partnering with the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, as their exclusive wine sponsor for a weekend celebrating sustainable seafood. Events will consist of three winemaker dinners, a trade tasting, VIP reception and a walk-around consumer tasting. Further details will be posted shortly.
Each summer Rhone Ranger member wineries converge on Seattle for the Northwest Grand Tasting. In 2010, the events will consist of a Trade Tasting (July 13th) and a Consumer Tasting in conjunction with FareStart at their Guest Chefs on the Waterfront event (July 14th). Both events will take place at Pier 66 in downtown Seattle. Los Angeles Tasting, August 8, 2010
The 2009 Rhone Rangers Los Angeles area tasting took place at Pier 59 Studios West. This event sold out in 2009, so plan ahead for 2010! Pier 59 Studios West is a private photography studio catering to high-end Hollywood clients, and it is located in Santa Monica, not far from the beach. The 2010 event will be an opportunity to taste some fabulous Rhone wines and see the studios which are normally closed to the public. Pier 59 Studios West has been the location where Madonna was photographed and where the Victoria's Secrets catalogs have been created. Further information will be posted soon. |
